The Cambodian Reconciliation Committee works to serve the Southeast Asian community in Fresno and the surrounding Central Valley area. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, the organization supports cultural preservation, educational advancement, and community wellness among Cambodian and Khmer families. The committee collaborates with local schools, county offices, and community organizations to create meaningful opportunities for youth and adults alike. By fostering connections between generations and promoting understanding of Cambodian heritage, the CRC helps build bridges across diverse communities throughout Fresno County and beyond.

Wat Thmei serves as a spiritual and cultural anchor for the Cambodian Buddhist community in Fresno. Temples like this provide a space for traditional ceremonies, language classes, and community gatherings that strengthen cultural identity. The temple welcomes families to participate in religious observances and seasonal celebrations that have been passed down through generations. These sacred spaces play an essential role in preserving Khmer traditions while helping newer generations stay connected to their ancestral roots. Community support through donations and volunteer efforts helps maintain these vital institutions for years to come.

The CRC organizes events throughout the year that bring together community members, educators, and local leaders. Annual gatherings such as the Thanksgiving luncheon provide opportunities for fellowship and recognition of those who contribute to community wellbeing. Educational workshops and cultural presentations help share Cambodian history and traditions with broader audiences across the Valley. These events rely on the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of sponsors who believe in the mission of strengthening families and communities. Through these collective efforts, the organization continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many.
