The Cambodian Reconciliation Committee serves the Cambodian and Khmer communities of Fresno and the broader Central Valley with a mission centered on cultural preservation, education, and community support. Through its various programs and outreach efforts, the organization works to bridge generations and maintain the rich traditions of Cambodian heritage while helping community members navigate life in the United States. From educational initiatives to health services and cultural events, the CRC provides a vital hub for Southeast Asian families seeking connection to their roots as well as resources for building successful futures in California's diverse landscape.

Wat Thmei and affiliated temples play a central role in the spiritual and cultural life of the Cambodian Buddhist community in Fresno. These sacred spaces serve not only as places of worship but as gathering points for festivals, ceremonies, and community meetings that strengthen bonds among families and across generations. The temple grounds offer a place where elders can pass down traditions to youth, where monks provide guidance and blessings, and where the community comes together to observe important holidays and life events in accordance with Buddhist customs and Khmer cultural practices.

Community partnerships with local educational institutions, health organizations, and civic leaders amplify the CRC's ability to serve the Fresno area's Southeast Asian population. Collaborations with school districts, colleges, and county offices help address needs ranging from language access and adult education to health awareness and civic engagement. Annual events such as the Thanksgiving luncheon and awards ceremonies recognize community leaders and educators who have made significant contributions, while radio and media outreach ensure that information about services and cultural programming reaches households throughout the region.
